Beverly Hills: the back story
The back story

About Beverly Hills: the back story
Beverly Hills is a separate city surrounded by Los Angeles, famous for Rodeo Drive, its grand hotels and its palm-lined residential streets.
Rodeo Drive
The boutiques of Rodeo Drive, Two Rodeo and Via Rodeo start at the Beverly Wilshire and run north towards Santa Monica Boulevard.

The hotels
The Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunset, the Beverly Wilshire, The Maybourne, The Peninsula and the Waldorf Astoria are all within a few minutes of each other.
Three blocks of Rodeo Drive hold most of the world’s great fashion houses.
The residential streets
North of Santa Monica Boulevard, wide palm-lined streets lead up towards Sunset and the hills; Greystone Mansion and Virginia Robinson Gardens are historic estates you can visit.
Our advice: lunch at Spago or a deli on Beverly Drive, then walk Rodeo Drive and Beverly Gardens Park.
