About The Hollywood Roosevelt

The Hollywood Roosevelt was built in 1927 by Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford and Louis B. Mayer, and it hosted the first Academy Awards. David Hockney painted the bottom of its Tropicana Pool in 1988. Its website lists two restaurants, including Gable, four bars and a theatre, and the TCL Chinese Theatre and the Walk of Fame are right outside.
